Workshops for Community Providers

Confidence Enterprise
Community

We partner with community organisations that support people into work, training, and self-employment — including councils, job centres, workforce programmes, housing associations, and enterprise support providers.

Our practical workshops are designed to give participants the skills, confidence, and tools to start and grow their own businesses or side hustles — helping them move towards independence, employability, and income generation.

This programme is delivered by Danielle Madden.
The founder of The Business Blueprint, MADS and WebsBYMads

I created The Business Blueprint because I wanted to see freelancers, small business owners, and creatives grow with confidence, not just start, but actually build something sustainable. The Blueprint brings together training, resources, and community support so learning continues long after the workshops end.

Alongside this, I run MADS and WebsbyMADS — my marketing, social media, and web design companies. Working directly with businesses has given me first-hand experience of what it really takes to build visibility, attract clients, and grow in today’s fast-moving digital world.

I built these programmes because I believe people achieve more when they have the right support behind them. And with my background, participants are learning from someone who has done it — and is still doing it.

Together, The Business Blueprint and MADS combine practical coaching, marketing expertise, and a supportive community to make enterprise skills accessible to everyone.

The Business Blueprint community provides expert-led courses, mentoring, and resources.

 FAQs

  • These workshops are for anyone supported by community providers — including residents looking to develop new skills, explore self-employment, or turn a hobby into income. They’re ideal for people who want to build confidence, gain practical business knowledge, and discover realistic ways to create financial independence. We work with a wide range of participants, from those just beginning to explore ideas to individuals already running small local businesses or side hustles.

  • Not at all. Many participants arrive with nothing more than curiosity — a spark of an idea or a skill they’re not yet sure how to use. Others might already be selling products or offering services informally. Our workshops meet people where they are, helping complete beginners identify potential opportunities and supporting those with existing ideas to move them forward with structure and confidence.

  • Delivery is fully flexible. We offer in-person workshops for community venues, online sessions for remote learning, or a blend of both. Sessions can run as short tasters, half-days, or as part of a longer enterprise or employability programme. We work closely with each organisation to align delivery with your participants’ needs, local schedules, and available funding.

  • Workshops can range from two-hour introductory tasters to full-day sessions or multi-day structured programmes. The format depends entirely on your community’s goals — whether that’s a quick confidence boost or a deeper, guided journey toward self-employment. Every session is designed to be interactive, engaging, and immediately useful.

  • Our programmes are designed and delivered by professionals who work directly with small businesses, freelancers, and entrepreneurs every day. This means the training is practical and relevant — not just theory. We’ve partnered with councils, job centres, and community organisations across the region, delivering workshops that build confidence, digital skills, and real-world enterprise outcomes. Participants learn from someone who’s doing the work, not just teaching it.

  • We regularly collaborate with councils, job centres, housing associations, and community programmes to deliver enterprise training as part of employability, skills, or economic development initiatives. Each partnership is bespoke — you can choose the workshops, format, and schedule that suit your participants and funding model. Simply get in touch to discuss how we can design a programme that fits your community’s needs.

  • Our workshops are built around confidence, creativity, and community — not theory. They’re designed and delivered by someone who actively works in marketing, design, and small business development, ensuring every session is grounded in real experience. Participants leave with more than inspiration — they leave with tools, templates, and the belief that self-employment or business growth is genuinely achievable.
